Résumé

Flammable refrigerant R32 has superior environmental performance for protecting environment, so it has been gradually recognized to be a potential substitute for R410A. This paper presents an air-to-water heat pump with tube-bundle-double-pipe heat exchanger that is a match for an outdoor unit of household air conditioner. By optimizing refrigerant charge and optimally adjusting the opening of electronic expansion valve and adjusting water flow, the performance of the air-to-water heat pump with refrigerant R32 or R410A was tested at the standard conditions of the China standard GB/T 18430.2-2008. The results show that R32’s charge is 66.3 percent of R410A’s charge, the performance of R32 heat pump is close to that of R410A heat pump at standard cooling condition and is superior at standard heating condition, the capacity of R32 heat pump is higher than that of R410A heat pump with the same compressor displacement, but the compression ratio is lower and the discharge temperature is much higher than that of R410A heat pump.
