Réduction des émissions de HFC : possibilité d'une réglementation relative aux HFC dans l'Union Européenne.

HFC emission reduction: potential climate change regulation on HFCs in the European Union.

Auteurs : CAMPBELL N. J.

Résumé

HFCs have been discussed in detail in the fluorinated gases sub-group of the European Climate Change Programme (ECCP) which was completed in July 2001. In the paper, the contribution of HFCs to climate change is put into context with respect to their direct and indirect impacts on the refrigeration and air-conditioning systems in which they are used. The ECCP recommendations are described, as is the on-going process to create a European Community Fluorocarbon Directive. Actions taken by member states are reviewed.
