Résumé

In cold stores emergency cooling is necessary. Instead of liquefied nitrogen, which was used already until today, liquefied air is offered now. By using nitrogen, there is an important risk of lack of oxygen. There are high costs for the hardware and the installation. Liquefied air with 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen allows working in the cold store during the cooling period and can show in addition savings of costs.
