Résumé

Phase change cold storage materials can improve energy efficiency in cold chain transportation. This study measured the thermophysical properties of modified organic alcohol SH-4 and modified organic composite salt SH-7 solutions (5–25 wt%). Formulations with phase change temperatures between −5 and 0 °C were selected, namely 5 wt%, 10 wt% SH-4, 5 wt% SH-7. Among them, 5 wt% SH-4 exhibited the best performance, with latent heat of 278.4 J·g⁻¹, thermal conductivity of 0.552 W/(m·K), phase change temperature of −1.23 °C, and supercooling degree of 0.8 °C. Adding 1 wt% of 30 nm Al2O3 or SiC nanoparticles enhanced performance. Al2O3 outperformed SiC, reducing supercooling by 87.5% and increasing thermal conductivity by 8.15% relative to 5 wt% SH-4. Cold storage tests with cauliflower showed that the nano-enhanced material provided preservation durations of 29.5 h (1 layer) and 6.5 h (3 layers) at 0–5 °C, demonstrating its potential for lowtemperature
preservation.
