Résumé

The paper presents the frost resistance capacity of four rose groups (Thea hybrida, polyantha, floribunda, grandiflora), based upon observation of 77 varieties in the collection belonging to I.C.L.F. Vidra, in correlation with the temperatures registered during 1995-1996 winter. Based upon these observations, the authors indicate the measures to be applied in order to prevent the rose plants from being killed by frost during winter.
