Résumé
This paper is presented by one of the appointed international SEARCH II energy experts, Zoltan Magyar, who publishes and uses the mid-term assessment results of a common work on behalf of the entire project team. The paper relates to the outcomes of the ‘School Environment and Respiratory Health of Children’ project (SEARCH II). SEARCH II is generously supported by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS) and implemented by the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC). The indicated data and facts are non-final and in the process of validation and finalization. During the SEARCH II project, the energy consumption of 95 schools has been investigated in 10 different countries. Every project country appointed a national energy expert who gathered the relevant information from the schools during field visits. The data was collected regarding building size, construction, heating-, DHW-, cooling- and air systems, as well as annual energy consumptions. In a first step, this input was analyzed, while the distributions of the different parameters were examinated. In a follow up, a common energy calculation method was chosen, namely the Hungarian 7/2006. TNM Decree. The specific heat loss coefficient, the primary energy of the heating and the domestic hot water supply, the annual gas, district heating and oil consumptions were calculated. Initially, the calculation based on the assumption that all buildings are located on the same spot, concretely Hungary, with the goal of comparing the results of the different schools with each other. In the second calculation, however, the calculated heat consumption data was corrected with the heating degree day factor, and compared with the real energy consumptions, according to the real location. This paper presents a first mid-term analysis of the calculations.
