Séparation électrostatique de l'huile par chute par chute dans la vapeur du frigorigène sous pression élevée.

Oil drop electrostatic separation from high-pressure refrigerant vapour.

Résumé

The electrostatic method of charging particles or droplets and removing them from the flow is proposed for refrigeration cycles and heat pumps. The paper deals with the separation of oil droplets from the air and refrigerant high-pressure vapour stream. In the electrostatic oil droplets separation, one of the most important problems is the influence of the electrical discharge on the refrigerant chemical stability. The infrared spectroscopy is used to investigate the chemical stability of refrigerant. The experimental results are presented. This paper shows the evidence that the corona discharge does not influence on the chemical stability of refrigerant R507. The system of two parallel plate electrodes with one central discharge wire electrode and a system of cylindrical electrode with a center discharge wire electrode have been applied in the experiments. The experimental results presented in this paper showed that the electrostatic oil separation method could be applied for compression systems.
