Résumé

Based on the Montreal Protocol, its later amendments and China's national scheme for ODS phase-out (the revised draft), the author gives an overview of the prospects and historic status of HCFCs in China's refrigeration and air-conditioning industry. He points out that improving the system tightness and energy efficiency in operation is the developmental trend in the industry.
