Résumé

The paper describes the dynamic ice storage system installed in a 150,000 m2 mixed-use facility in Taipei, Taiwan. It summarizes the problems associated with the operation of a dynamic ice storage system and includes recommendations for optimizing its operation to meet the design intent. It also points out the important role of a well-trained, intelligent operator in achieving the maximum in operating cost savings.
