Une étude expérimentale des possibilités de réduction des besoins en énergie des systèmes de climatisation automobiles.

An experimental study on energy consumption reduction opportunities for automotive air conditioning systems.

Résumé

The air-conditioning systems studied in this article used refrigerant R134a in the baseline system that consisted of an orifice tube, swash-plate compressor and an extruded-tube condenser. Modifications to this baseline system included a scroll compressor, a thermal expansion valve, and a sub-cooled condenser. Experiments were performed for nine different operating conditions designed to cover the entire range experienced in automotive air conditioning systems. The combination of components tested resulted in 28% lower power consumption and consequently 24% higher COP when compared to the baseline system.
