Résumé

Ten or more years after the installation of the first refrigeration systems with CO2, it is a good opportunity to look at the experience we have gained and what lessons we have learned. In some parts of the world, the cascade systems have been pushed a little out of the market by transcritical systems. A study of the published work will summarize the experience with these systems as well. A third area to be looked at is CO2 as a secondary refrigerant and the experience gained during the same period. CO2 has also been used as a secondary volatile refrigerant in many applications. The data will summarize the published results only using public available data from conferences and available magazines. Key findings and recommendations will be summarized. Limited commercial material will be used. Instead only conference papers and presentations will be used.
