Résumé

In light of the PCM 2018 conference, the scope of the conference is to highlight the novel technologies using Phase Change Materials (PCMs) and Slurries (ice or hydrate slurries). This report summarizes the application of DeepChill™(DC) slurry ice for servicing the fisheries, food processing, supermarkets and ice thermal storage industries. The report focuses to highlight the novel technologies that DC is and related it to the focus of the PCM2018 conference:
- Thermophysical and rheological properties of DC Slurries
- How DC is optimized for refrigeration applications
- Innovative and improved equipment and logistics for generation, handling, distribution and employment of DC
- Renewable heating and cooling by using PCMs and Slurries
- Thermal energy storage and energy savings via PCMs and Slurries
- Industrial (food, transport, etc.) and building applications of PCMs and Slurries
- Sustainability impact of refrigeration and air conditioning technologies involving PCMs and Slurries
