The article briefly describes what will be the biggest cold store in Europe (still under construction in Bremerhaven, Germany) for quick-frozen food (capacity: 500,000 m3; temperature: -28 °C). Handling will be completely automatic; a treatment rate of 200 pallets/hour is predicted.
