Résumé

Storage behaviour of potato cultivars Kufri Chandramukhi, kufri Badshah and Kufri Jawahar was studied using four different storage methods: rustic diffused light storage; heap storage; traditional commercial cold storage; and indigenous country storage. The minimum weight loss was recorded in commercial cold storage method followed by the rustic diffused light storage method. Heap and country storage methods were found inferior for potato storage. Minimum tuber rotting and physiological loss were observed in Kufri Chandramukhi followed by Kufri Jawahar in all four storage methods, while Kufri Badshah recorded the maximum weight loss.
