Résumé

The authors report on possible system solutions for alternative refrigerating plants based on the operating and capital cost of two sample systems. Results are given along with proposals for better design of individual features like compressor, piping, defrosting, air-conditioning and use of waste heat. First operational experiences are presented, as related to electricity consumption among other things.
