Résumé

The experimental discussion was performed to the process of ice formation and melting in the ice thermal energy storage cell employing the resin tube-mat for the heat transfer surface. The experiments were carried out by varying the temperature of brine and the brine rate and the basic characteristics of the ice thermal energy storage cell was developed by measuring the ice formation rate and the melting rate, and by measuring the temperature change of the brine. As a result, IPF= 0.8 was achieved at about 6 hours by the brine of -5°C and the melting was completed at about 4 hours by the brine of 5°C. It was found that the cold energy was stored linearly up to the final stage of the solidification process and in the melting process the cold energy was taken out stably for similar time to the solidification process.
