Résumé

An experimental device using a differential thermal method coupled with a calibrated gas injection has been designed to characterize the conditions of gas hydrate formation and phase changes in aqueous solutions. The apparatus has been tested to determine the equilibrium of carbon dioxide hydrates between 273 and 281 K with a CO2 pressure range between 1.4 and 3.2 MPa in various solutions: pure H2O, H2O- (11wt%) ethanol and H2O- (11wt%) glycerol. The set-up has also been used to determine CO2 solubilities in aqueous solutions which are data required for hydrate equilibrium understanding. Therefore, results presented in this work constitute a first stage of CO2 hydrate characterization.
