This booklet presents a summary of key aspects of the new European Community (EC) Regulation No 2037/2000 on ozone depleting substances (ODS), which affects users, producers, suppliers, maintenance and servicing engineers, and those involved in the disposal of all ODS, mainly used in refrigeration, air conditioning, foam blowing, solvents and in fire fighting (see also IIR Bulletin, references 2001-1248, 1249 and 2069).
