This guide provides details of how the new European Community (EC) Regulation No. 2037/2000 on ozone depleting substances (ODS), will affect manufacture and use of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. It is aimed at all key parties in the refrigeration and air-conditioning market including users, designers, equipment manufacturers, installation contractors and maintenance contractors (see also IIR Bulletin, references 2001-1248, 1249 and 2068).
