Résumé

Directives and other regulations have been established on an EU basis for various segments such as atmosphere, polluted air, water, waste, etc. Furthermore there are drafts and discussions for more regulations within all areas of environment protection. A survey outlines the most important developments with special reference to the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.
