Résumé

Fruits of orange cv. Pêra previously stored for 3 days with and without ethylene were sprayed with imazalil, thiabendazole and a mixture of both fungicides, formulated with and without wax. Following this treatment, the fruits were stored for 25 days at 4 plus or minus 2 °C and 90 plus or minus 5% relative humidity. Parameters related to orange quality were evaluated before and after the storage period. With the exception of colour, no significant differences were observed in the chemical and physicochemical parameters, independent of the exposure to ethylene. The ethylene was effective for the degreening of orange with no effect on the quality. The further treatment with wax contributed to maintain the colour.
