Résumé
Using a KCl-H2O eutectic solution as the working fluid, an experimental platform for low-temperature ice slurry was established, where the stable supercooled characteristics was studied and the effects of the solution flow rates and refrigerant temperatures on the supercooling characteristics of the solution were disclosed. The results indicate that, at a specified flow rate, stable supercooling of the KCl-H2O eutectic solution can be achieved by maintaining the supercooling degree of the solution below the nucleation supercooling degree. When the solution flow rates were 100, 200, 250, and 300 mL . min–1, the corresponding nucleation supercooling degrees were 1.6, 4.1, 3.8, and 3.6 ℃, respectively. As the refrigerant temperature decreased, the heat-transfer driving temperature difference increased, and the supercooling duration of the solution was shortened. These results provide a useful reference for the development of low-temperature ice slurry cold storage technology based on the supercooling method.
