Résumé

A multi-deck cabinet installed in a test room with always the same climate class, the same internal fittings and the same loading is investigated with different kinds of evaporators and heat exchangers for obtaining the same performance level. The air-side design of the tested exchangers is kept as a constant parameter with regard to the overall heat transfer coefficients and to the global air flow organization in the cabinet. Heat transfer phenomena are analysed and discussed. This investigation shows that evaporation of refrigerants in enhanced tubes and ice slurry flows give the best internal transfer coefficients.
