These preprints contain 25 papers presented at the first international conference on New Technologies in Commercial Refrigeration, sponsored by the IIR, held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They cover a wide range of new technologies in the energy and refrigeration sectors, from new refrigerants, new and modified refrigeration cycles, new components, new approaches to on-site energy generation, new lighting options, to frosting and air curtain modelling and novel strategies.
