Résumé

This report has been prepared as a background document for the Workshop "Joining European efforts to limit emissions of HFCs, PFCs and SF6", Luxembourg, February 1-2, 2000 on behalf of VROM (Dutch Ministry of spatial planning, housing and the environment). It provides an overview over the estimated and projected levels of European emissions of HFCs, PFCs and SF6 in 1990, 1995 and 2010. A comparison between different reported emission data is made and an overview over technological options that could help to limit future levels of emissions is also given (see also this Bulletin, references 2001-2589 to 2591).
