Résumé
This PowerPoint plenary-lecture presentation contains many photos and gives a review of practical and regulatory aspects of the application of cold in medicine on the basis of experiences of the Tissue Bank, University Hospital Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. New requirements on safety and quality of banked cells and tissues as a challenge for companies producing cryogenic and air-conditioning equipment are described.
