Résumé

This greenhouse gas inventory is submitted to the Secretariat of the UNFCCC (United National Framework Convention on Climate Change) by the European Community as a Party to the Convention. The report provides data on emissions from sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases in the European Community in the period 1990 to 1996. The report has been prepared on the basis of national Member States' inventory data for all of the 15 European Community's Member States, as available to the European Commission by April 1999. It contains annual EC and Member State inventories for 1990, 1994, 1995 and 1996.
