Résumé

The European Community, as a Party to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), reports annually on greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories within the area covered by its Members. This EC GHG inventory is compiled on the basis of the inventories of the 15 EC Member States. It is the direct sum of the 15 national inventories, except for the reference approach for CO2 from fossil fuels developed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
