Résumé

This guide has been published in association with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Climate Technology Initiative for the 6th Conference of the Parties (COP 6), held in the Hague, Netherlands, in November 2000. The guide, published in paper and electronic formats, contains articles and case studies from companies and organizations at the forefront to respond positively to climate change and sustainable development and is organized in technology zones covering: greenhouse gas emissions reduction (transport, renewable energy, cleaner production and sustainable consumption, natural gas, coal); adaptation technologies (pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies, freshwater and coastal engineering, forestry); support technologies (services and regional activities); directory.
