Résumé

Based on experimental and theoretical investigations, control strategies for optimum defrosting of display cabinet evaporator coils have been developed. These control strategies make use of neural network models of the evaporators to identify the defrost initiation time. The paper reports on the methodology used to develop the control strategies and on the results obtained.
