Pompe à chaleur au CO2 utilisant de l'air d'évacuation avec régulation de la surchauffe à pression élevée associée à un système d'hydraulique de pointe.

CO2 exhaust air heat pump with combined high-pressure superheating control and advanced water hydraulic.

Auteurs : OTT S.

Résumé

The prototype of an exhaust air heat pump for combined space and hot water heating using CO2 as refrigerant has been set up and tested. To obtain good efficiencies in a common transcritical CO2 cycle an active control of the high-side pressure is needed. The modified dimensioning and design of the heat pump is the result of a new control strategy, controlling high-side pressure and superheating simultaneously. An electronic expansion valve is used to achieve the optimum high pressure, while the superheating may float within a predefined range. Optimum high-side pressure is equal to the high-side pressure of the maximum COP. For further improvement of the COP an enhanced water hydraulic is needed. First experimental results are shown and compared with a heat pump produced in series using R-290 as refrigerant.
