Simulation et comparaison des systèmes frigorifiques primaires et secondaires utilisés dans les supermarchés.

Simulation and comparison of primary and secondary refrigeration systems in supermarkets.

Résumé

One way of reducing or eliminating the use of HCFCs and HFCs in supermarket applications is to replace "primary" centralized refrigeration systems, which are the predominant type of system in modern supermarkets, with secondary refrigeration systems. The paper presents a comparison between the energy efficiency of a primary and secondary refrigeration system for a supermarket in the United Kingdom. The results indicate that the total energy consumption of the secondary system would be approximately 35% higher compared to that of the primary system, mainly due to the power consumption of the secondary fluid pumps. The TEWI of the secondary system, however, was predicted to be 7% lower than the primary system over an assumed system lifetime of 10 years.
