Résumé

The purpose of this study is to develop the system simulation model for the CO2 heat pump water heater and investigate the validity of this model by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results. The detailed models of each component (the gas cooler, evaporator, compressor and expansion valve) are developed. An experiment is also carried out using the actual machine whose heating capacity is 22.3 kW and supplied hot water temperature is 90°C. The effects of the inlet water temperature and the outside air temperature on system characteristics (COP, heat exchanger rate, refrigerant flow rate and so on), are investigated by both simulation and experiment. As a result, the static simulation model of CO2 heat pump water heater was developed. For example, the precision of this model was found to be within 3.6% compared with the results of the experiment.
