Système frigorifique à coulis de glace pilote et de démonstration utilisés pour les produits alimentaires dans les supermarchés.

Ice slurry pilot and demonstration system for food refrigeration in supermarkets.

Résumé

The idea of the system is to perform a medium step between the laboratory systems of the EUREKA project FIFE (Fine-crystalline Ice: Fundamentals and Engineering), which are operated with success, and lower-cost systems, designed for practical applications. The refrigeration machine, with a cooling power of 15.5 kW, is running with ammonia and is connected to an ice generator of the mechanical scraper type. A storage tank of 1.5 m3 with a mixing device was installed. In the primary and secondary circuits, displacement pumps are transporting the ice slurry to the consumers, which are a cold-storage chamber, two different cooling cabinets for milk and meat products and a transportable cooling display cabinet.
