Heat transfer issues in "natural" refrigerants. International conference.

Date : 1997.11.06 / 1997.11.07

Lieu : College Park, États-Unis

Résumé

These two volumes contain 23 preprints of the IIR Commission B1 international conference, held at College Park, Maryland, USA, November 6-7, 1997. The conference was co-sponsored by the ASHRAE and the Center for Environmental Energy Engineering of the University of Maryland. Extract from the table of contents: heat transfer and pressure drop of CO2; calculation and simulation of a heat exchanger; boiling heat transfer correlation for CO2; two-stage CO2 compression; heat pump water heater; evaporative heat transfer coefficients of ammonia and CO2; CO2 in comparison with R404A; low-temperature liquid secondary refrigerants; ice slurry; thermodynamic properties of ammonia in the critical region; small vapour compression refrigeration plants with ammonia and miscible oil; design of the regenerative heat exchanger; heat pump driven by a rolling piston compressor; pool boiling heat transfer coefficients of propane, butane and their mixtures; boiling of hydrocarbons; heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of cyclopropane, R600a and R12; adsorption refrigerator. The papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
