Résumé

The paper describes one industrial application with batch process and use of thermal energy storage. The manufacturer has been producing powdered eggs for more than 12 years. The paper describes the process, as well as the ice thermal energy storage system that was recently installed at the facility. It also explores the options that were considered and the reasoning behind the decisions that were made.
