Résumé

Studies have demonstrated that Salmonella, Vibrio spp. and Salmonella spp. can be present in environments where shrimps are cultured. This study investigates ways of avoiding unsafe levels of pathogens in this context and also deals with the problem of cross-contamination between wild and cultured species. The authors hope to assist regulatory agencies in their efforts to develop standards for safe aquacultured produce in general and shrimps in particular.
