Résumé

The natural refrigerantCO2 is currently being considered as a substitute for the industrially produced R134a. Based on the current state of technology and knowledge, some themes are discussed, including lubrication, sealing, TEWI, costs/applications, installation design, safety, manufacturing, service recycling, legislation, standards and regulations. The emphasis is placed on international markets and their specific requirements.
