Résumé

Alternatives to the use of organophosphorus compounds for the protection of stored grain against pest infestations are investigated. Batches of wheat are treated with flufenoxuron and azadirachtin, put into small bins, infested with mixed populations of mites and insects (Acarus siro L., Lepidoglyphus destructor (Schrank), Sitophylus granarius (L.) and Oryzaephilus surinamensis (L.) and stored at 15°C and 80% relative humidity for 26 weeks. From the second week, efficacy is evaluated every four weeks by the ability of the compounds to inhibit the development and survival of the pest species. The results are presented.
