Résumé

Under CO2-enriched controlled atmosphere storage conditions, 'Conference' pear is susceptible to internal flesh browning disorders such as brown heart and cavities. The effect of preharvest boron application on the occurrence of these disorders and on the enzymatic antioxidative activities associated with ascorbate metabolism and on the lipid preoxidation of membranes in pear fruits stored under high CO2 controlled atmosphere conditions was tested.
