Résumé
Small-scale refrigeration equipment like self-contained refrigeration retail cabinets (SCRC) often uses on-off control, which relies on wise structure design and temperature sensor location to keep temperatures in a reasonable range. In state-of-the-art design-oriented simulations, the refrigerated cabinet is always simplified as a structure of six 1-D insulation walls with lumped modeled air and loads. This approach will cause a significant simulating error in heat exchanging and on-off system characteristics because of the temperature response. In this study, the reduced-order temperature model (ROM) is applied in a SCRC to cost-effectively simulate the dynamic response of the air temperature field to better simulate the SCRC performance. System transients including temperature, pressure, and refrigerant distribution of experiment and simulation are compared in a part of the cool-down stage. The steady temperature distribution errors in CFD validation are within about 3 K, the pressure errors are within 50 kPa and 150 kPa for the condenser and evaporator respectively, and the most of predicted errors of temperature transients by ROM are satisfactory and within 2 K.
