This 2001 report provides the responses of the TEAP on the following decisions: essential use nominations for Parties not operating under Article 5 for controlled substances; measures to facilitate the transition to chlorofluorocarbon-free metered dose inhalers; exemption for laboratory and analytical uses; halon-management strategies; assessment of new substances; critical-use exemptions for methyl bromide; new substances with ozone-depleting potential; process agents; progress and development in the control of substances; this decision is developed and includes progress reports of different Technical Options Committees (TOCs): aerosols, foams, methyl bromide, refrigeration and solvents; the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pumps TOC report includes an update on the development and progress achieved in several refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors on: refrigerant data, domestic refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, transport refrigeration, unitary air conditioning, chillers, mobile air conditioning, refrigerant conservation.
