Type of article: Article

Summary

DESCRIBES THE ANEMOMETER, DESIGNED TO OPERATE HOT WIRES WITH DIAMETERS BETWEEN 0.63-5 MICROMETRES. A SPECIAL FEATURE IS THE USE OF SEPARATE CURRENT SOURCES TO SUPPLY THE DIFFERENT HALVES OF THE BRIDGE, THUS ELIMINATING THE NEED FOR DYNAMIC STABILITY COMPENSATION, NECESSARYFOR COMMERCIAL CONSTANT TEMPERATURE ANEMOMETERS. THE FREQUENCY RESPONSE OF THE PRESENT CIRCUIT COMPARES WELL WITH THAT OF A COMMERCIAL CIRCUIT. (INT. BUILD. SERV. ABSTR., GB., 22, N 3, 1987, 19, 87-00884.
