Policy and Research Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Policy and Research Intern to support the work of the Department of Policy and Global Partnerships. As a recently established department within a transforming organisation, the intern will play a role in developing new and strengthening existing IIR activities in line with the internal strategic plan. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science and policy and contribute to international policy research, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based advocacy in the fields of refrigeration, energy, and sustainability.

Engineering internship: Climate impact modelling for global food cold chains

A Data Scientist – Refrigeration and Sustainability Analytics (2-year fixed term contract)
The IIR is seeking a talented and impact-driven Data Scientist to lead the design, analysis, and visualization of data-driven insights across the refrigeration sector. This role will play a critical part in supporting strategic initiatives, such as the Refrigeration Outlook, global market mapping, policy impact assessments, and sustainability reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with scientific experts, technical commissions, and international stakeholders to turn complex datasets into actionable intelligence that drives innovation and decision-making across the global refrigeration landscape.
