Summary
THE FEASIBILITY OF USING A VIBRATING WIRE VISCOMETER AS A THERMOMETER IN HELIUM 3-HELIUM 4 MIXTURES AT VERY LOW TEMPERATURES, WAS STUDIED. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT THE VIBRATING WIRE VISCOMETER IS INDEED A FAST THERMOMETER, AND CAN BE ACCURATE, PROVIDED A GOOD CALIBRATION IS GIVEN. THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE CONSISTENT WITH PUBLISHED RESEARCH.
