MOST EQUATIONS FOR THE CALCULATION OF ROTORS HAVE UP TO NOW BEEN TRANSCENDENTAL. THUS THEY COULD BE SOLVED WITH THE REQUIRED ACCURACY, AT REASONABLE COSTS, ONLY BY DATA PROCESSING. THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE METHODS OF THE LITERATURE PROVIDES A NEW METHOD CAPABLE OF SOLVING THE CALCULATION OF PROFILES WITH ACCURACY. THIS CALCULATION IS GREATLY SIMPLIFIED. IN ADDITION, A GREAT NUMBER OF COUNTER-PROFILES OF A ROTOR OPERATING IN PARALLEL CAN BE CALCULATED. ONE HAS THUS AN OVERALL ESTIMATION BASIS FOR THE EFFECT OF THE MAIN DIMENSIONS OF THE ROTOR ON ITS PROFILE.
