A versatile electric motor for cryogenic applications.
Author(s) : RUPPERT U.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The electronically commutated cryomotor is advantageous in cases, where large torques, high speeds, a high accuracy of positioning and low degassing are required at low electric losses. Torque values up to 3 Newtons/m, speed values up to 7500 rpm, positioning accuracy in the order of 0.1 arc sec, and an efficiency up to 98% were achieved.
