Accessing rooftop refrigeration systems.
Author(s) : STEGMANN R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Difficult access accounts for the infrequent visits by supervisors and corporate engineers. Reports of "what's happening up there?" are second-hand, given by those who occasionally climb up as part of their routine duties. Given these conditions, the paper reviews the measures to be taken to make maintenance easier and failure rare. Recommendations on how to improve the design of rooftop units are provided.
