Summary
It is possible to reduce the levels of various types of noise generated by equipment and air circulating in ducts or leaving diffusion outlets. This can be achieved by performing an accurate study before designing systems, and also by careful component selection: designers and practitioners thus have shared responsibilities in the noise-reduction field.
