Summary
A new sorption solution based on calcium chloride makes regeneration possible at low temperature, for example with solar energy. Compared with the conventional processes, the combination of sorptive and evaporative cooling shows advantages in the primary energy balance. The requirements from the point of view of equipment are, however, considerable.
